This Privacy Policy explains how Blue Heron Limited (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles information collected through order22.com (“Site”). Order22.com is the checkout site for products published by Blue Heron Limited and its DBA brands. This policy applies only to this Site. Marketing pages and educational content for our products are hosted on separate websites, each with its own privacy policy.

Information We Collect on This Site

We collect two kinds of information on this Site:

1. Information you provide at checkout or in communications. When you place an order or contact us, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address (only if a physical product is shipped), email address, phone number (where requested), and the items in your order. Payment card data is collected and processed directly by our payment processors — we do not see or store full card numbers on our servers; we only receive a tokenized reference and the last four digits.

2. Automatic information. When you visit the Site, our servers and our analytics and advertising partners automatically receive standard internet log information — your IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device type, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, time spent, and similar usage data. This is collected through cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies in three categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Site and the checkout to function (cart state, session, fraud prevention).
  • Analytics — to understand how visitors use the Site. We use Google Analytics and Matomo.
  • Advertising and conversion tracking — to measure the performance of our marketing and to deliver relevant ads. We use Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (Bing), Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and Taboola.

How We Share Information

  • Payment processors — ClickBank, Stripe, and PayPal handle your payment information directly under their own privacy policies. For products sold through ClickBank, ClickBank is the merchant of record, meaning ClickBank is the seller of record for that transaction.
  • Email service provider — GetResponse delivers transactional emails (receipts, shipping updates) and, for opted-in subscribers, newsletters.
  • Fulfillment partners — for orders that include a physical book, DVD, or similar product, we share the name, shipping address, and order details necessary to ship the item.
  • Analytics and advertising providers — we share limited online identifiers (cookie IDs, device IDs, IP address, page views) with the providers listed in the Cookies section so they can measure and target advertising on our behalf. Under California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and certain other state laws, this kind of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You can opt out as described in “Your Choices and Opt-Out” below.
  • Professional advisors and authorities — we may share information when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others.

How Long We Keep Information

We retain information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above:

  • Order records — at least 7 years to comply with tax and accounting requirements
  • Chargeback and fraud-related records — at least 2 years
  • Customer-support correspondence — up to 3 years from the last contact
  • Marketing data — until you unsubscribe or 3 years of inactivity, whichever comes first
  • Analytics data — according to the retention settings of each analytics provider

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know what personal information we have collected about you
  • Right to access a copy of that information
  • Right to correct inaccurate information

This Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Health and HIPAA Disclaimer

We are not a HIPAA-covered entity. Information you submit through this Site is not protected health information under HIPAA. The products sold on this Site are educational and are not medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health.

How We Protect Information
